| About us This project started its life in 2002 by two school improvement advisers - Mike Bostock and Bob Percival - based on techniques evolved from working with school leaders over many years, and from Ofsted inspection work. Chris is the newest member of our team - a gifted software engineer and the author of our new system - 4Matrix.net - an SQL-powered, networked, web-enabled version of 4Matrix. 4Matrix is a development of New Media Learning Ltd, an education consultancy specialising in school improvement, software development and school improvement work. Our aim is to focus on continuing development to create the best and most comprehensive performance data system available. The advantage of being a small development operation is that schools don't have to pay for large company overheads when they purchase 4Matrix - and they can talk directly to the developers. The disadvantage is that sometimes we will be out training and you may need to leave us a message - or better still, email us - contact@4matrix.org - because we respond to emails quickly and at any time - including evenings and weekends. We also work with a small number of top-quality consultants who help us provide training and in-school consultancy. We have a new high-impact modular training /consultancy programme called Systemic Knowledge-Driven Leadership that is attracting a lot of interest at the moment. These professional tools have been specifically designed to enhance the role of senior staff with responsibility for standards and achievement. The design of 4Matrix is driven by requests from users, and we will always try to accommodate new requests.
